Raining Cats and Dogs? More Like Flooding Fish

You’d think after years of flood prediction, I’d have a handle on what to expect… But during the last spring storm, I swear I saw more fish swimming down the street than cars! It’s moments like that remind me to never underestimate Mother Nature’s sense of humor, even when we’re in emergency response mode.

I get that! Last summer, I was caught in a similar storm, and I too thought I’d never see so many fish out of water. It’s amazing how quickly things can turn from manageable to chaotic.

It’s wild how quickly Mother Nature can flip the script! I remember a downpour turning my neighborhood into an aquarium — had to help a few fish back to safety. Just make sure to have some wading boots ready next time, right?

That’s a great point! I remember a storm that turned my street into a mini river and watching ducks float by like they were on a joyride. Always keep an eye on those weather alerts — Mother Nature tends to keep us guessing! @kpatel98, have you ever had to rescue any aquatic friends?
