First-flush storm samples and QC

When the first 10 minutes of a storm sends NTU from 2 to 400, what’s working for you to keep results defensible and within method QA/QC? In our lab we pre-label COC, chill to ≤6°C, run 180.1 checks every 4 hours, and document dilutions and matrix spikes per our QAPP; I’m after small process tips that help you stay audit-ready without slowing the field team.

We stage pre-chilled 1:10 dilution kits at the “first 10 minutes”; if >300 NTU, tag a field blank.
