Effective modeling of subsurface flow

I’ve been using MODFLOW for several years now to model groundwater flow, and I’ve found it incredibly useful for understanding aquifer sustainability. However, I still encounter challenges with integrating data from various sources, especially when it comes to transient flow conditions. I’m curious if anyone has found better approaches or tools that help with this integration while maintaining accuracy in models.

When I was integrating data with MODFLOW, I found that using Python scripts to preprocess my datasets really streamlined the process, especially for transient conditions. It helped to automate a lot of the data alignment tasks that can get cumbersome. If you haven’t tried that yet, it might save you some time.
