I’ve noticed that applying early can really make a difference. I applied for a remote hydrology position last month and ended up getting an interview within days! It’s kind of like jumping on a good wave before it crashes, right?

Getting in early definitely matters; I once applied for a hydrology role just hours after it was posted and had a response the next day! Remote roles are great for flexibility, but I’d say try to highlight any leadership experience you have, as it seems like those positions are really in demand right now. Have you applied for any yet?

I’ve applied for a couple of remote hydrology jobs on a whim, and it led to some unexpected interviews! Just a tip: tailor your resume to highlight leadership skills even if a role seems more technical; it can really catch their attention. @dwilso34, have you found anything similar?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌

You’re spot on about the demand for leadership roles! I landed my current job after highlighting my project management experience in my application. It really stood out to them.
